Friends of S.M.A.K. have been running a membership operation since 1957, publishing art editions, collecting works of art and organising numerous activities at home and abroad.
Our members enjoy guided tours and lectures at S.M.A.K. We also take them to artists' studios, private art collections, galleries and numerous museums at home and abroad.
Thanks to the support of our members, the Friends have been able to build an important collection. A large part of it was donated to S.M.A.K., in 1999.
The Friends are working towards the realisation of a larger museum, in which there will be more room for the S.M.A.K. collection.
