This summer, the Citadel Park will literally be central in ‘PARK CENTRAL’. A broad spectrum of activities, exhibitions and surprising places to relax will mean that the Citadel Park site is the place to be.
The exhibitions in S.M.A.K., MSK and GUM will be accompanied by an extensive workshop programme for different ages in the museums. Alongside our wide-ranging exhibitions, which includes the collection presentation ‘The Little Catalogue Part 1’, curated by children for children, and a retrospective dedicated to the work of Brazilian artist Anna Bella Geiger, our partners are also offering plenty of great things to do in the Citadel Park.
The pop-up bars ‘Monterey’ and ‘Baracita’ will organise small concerts and newcomer Ensemble vzw is opening a bar, rehearsal space and vegetable garden. Citadelic Jazz will also return to the park. Cremerie GUILLAUME in S.M.A.K will be serving ice creams and drinks. Several nature walks are being planned for all those seeking exercise. And in early July, there’s ‘Public Park’: discover works by young artists at various locations in the park during this four-day event.
