Create your own work of art using various media.
Are you ready to turn not one, but two museums inside out?
Have you always wanted to know how a museum works? Do you like making art yourself? Or do you know nothing about art at all? Then we want you in our group! From 19 to 22 August, a group of art squatters aged 13 to 15 will have the opportunity to show their view in the museum.
Professionals will teach you how to use video, photography, music and other media to tell your own story. At the end of the week, you will have a personal work of art to take home.
In cooperation with the Museum of Fine Arts.
Practical information
- From Tuesday 19.Aug.2025 to Friday 22.Aug.2025.
- From 10:00 to 16:00.
- For 13-15 year olds (young people born between 2013 and 2015)
- Price: 140 euros (discount with UiTPAS opportunity rate for the Ghent region)
- Register via reservation@smak.be, clearly stating which workshop you would like to attend.
- Bring your own packed lunch and snacks.
