S.M.A.K. is the first museum in Belgium to present a solo exhibition by internationally renowned artist Haegue Yang. Haegue Yang's fascinating and sophisticated artistic practice includes works on paper, photography, video, sound art and text in addition to large sculptures and installations. Her works are also distinguished by their formal agility and their capacity to convey various ideas, histories, perceptions and emotions. The central hall is occupied by seventeen sculptural units titled Warrior Believer Lover – Version Sonic (2023).
