We are delighted to invite you to the exclusive VIP evening organized by the Friends of S.M.A.K. on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition Marc De Blieck | Point de voir on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., in the presence of the artist.
For the first time, S.M.A.K. presents a solo museum exhibition by Marc De Blieck. In Point de voir, the artist shows various series from his rich career.
Programme:

18:00 – 18:30 | Welcome in the museum hall

18:30 – 18:45 | Speeches by the chairman of the Friends of S.M.A.K., Bruno Matthys, and introduction to the exhibition by S.M.A.K. director Philippe Van Cauteren

18:45 – 19:45 | Visit to the exhibition, in the presence of the artist

20:00 – 23:00 | Dinner at restaurant Godot, in the center of Ghent
Own transport: underground parking available near the restaurant (Sint-Michiels, Ramen, and Vrijdagsmarkt).
Upon request, S.M.A.K. can arrange a taxi for you from the museum to the restaurant and back.
