You are welcome to attend the press meeting of Several Reenactments, South Korean Haegue Yang's first solo exhibition in Belgium, on Thursday 20 April 2023 at 11:00. The artist and curator Karima Boudou will take you through the exhibition.
Especially for S.M.A.K., Yang is reworking her 2011 installation 'Warrior, Believer, Lover' into a new group of mysterious sculptures. The entire room was painted in what Yang calls "Quasi-Yves Klein Blue", a reference to Yves Klein's famous blue. The cabinets to the left and right of the central room are filled with video work and installations, mirroring each other.
The exhibition runs from 22.Apr.2023 to 10.Sep.2023.
