You are welcome to attend the press meeting of The End Is Never Near, a first comprehensive retrospective of Belgian painter Jan Van Imschoot, on Thursday 5 October 2023 at 11:00. The artist and curator Dieter Roelstraete will take you through the exhibition.
Van Imschoot is internationally known for his intimate, enigmatic works from the early 1990s and his recent large-scale, historically inspired tableaux. The exhibition traces a rough chronological trajectory that spans more than 30 years and includes over 80 of his paintings.
