U bent van harte uitgenodigd op de openingsavond van de tentoonstelling van Jan Van Imschoot, The End Is Never Near op vrijdag 6 oktober 2023 om 20:00, in aanwezigheid van de kunstenaar en curator Dieter Roelstraete.

Jan Van Imschoot staat internationaal bekend om zijn intieme, raadselachtige werken uit de vroege jaren negentig en zijn recente grootschalige, historisch geïnspireerde tableaus. De tentoonstelling stippelt een ruw chronologisch traject uit dat meer dan dertig jaar omspant langs meer dan tachtig doeken van zijn hand. De tentoonstelling loopt tot 3 maart 2024.

Die avond opent ook het Brievenproject Joseph Willaert en Film Fest Gent.

You are warmly invited to attend the opening of The End Is Never Near by Jan Van Imschoot on Friday 6 October 2023 between 20:00 and 23:00. The artist and curator Dieter Roelstraete will be present that evening.

Jan Van Imschoot is internationally known for his intimate, enigmatic works from the early 1990s and his recent large-scale, historically inspired tableaux. The exhibition traces a rough chronological trajectory that spans more than 30 years and includes over 80 of his paintings.

That evening also opens the Letters Project Joseph Willaert and Film Fest Gent.

Vous êtes le bienvenu sur l'ouverture de The End Is Never Near de Jan Van Imschoot le vendredi 6 octobre 2023 entre 20h00 et 23h00. L'artiste et le conservateur Dieter Roelstraete sera présent ce soir-là.

Jan Van Imschoot est connu internationalement pour ses œuvres intimes et énigmatiques du début des années 90 et ses récents tableaux monumentaux inspirés de l’histoire. L'exposition suit un parcours grosso modo chronologique qui couvre plus de trente ans à travers plus de quatre-vingts toiles de sa main.

Cette soirée marque également l'ouverture du Projet épistolaire de Joseph Willaert et du Film Fest Gent.
