Dear Teacher,
From 21 September to 7 November 2026, S.M.A.K. turns into the temporary workspace of choreographer, director and dancer Meg Stuart and her company Damaged Goods. For seven weeks, during Ricochet Days, they create a weekly rhythm of work sessions, performances and spontaneous interventions in and around the museum.
Bodies and movement are at the heart of this project. The artists are interested in the activities that keep the museum running: installing and dismantling exhibitions, caring for artworks and visitors, moving through and interacting with the space… These movements inspire the group to develop new experiments with performance, visual art, sound, film and more.
Every Thursday: free Open Class in the Citadel Park
As part of the weekly programme, one of the participating artists will lead an open practice session every Thursday morning at 10:00. We warmly invite you to join one of these sessions with your group or class. Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience or background.

Discover Ricochet Days
The Open Class is just one way to experience Ricochet Days. You can also follow the announced programme, visit the 'laboratory' in Room 1, or simply come across an artistic experiment in the museum galleries. The boundary between artist and visitor, between observing and participating, is constantly shifting. In this way, your presence becomes part of the residency.
We hope to welcome you to S.M.A.K. from 21 September onwards!
Warm regards,
The S.M.A.K. team
