dynamic project toont het veelomvattende oeuvre van Philippe Van Snick (Gent, 1946 – Brussel, 2019) via sculpturen, installaties, foto's, video's, schilderijen, tekeningen, maquettes en edities. Vanaf de late jaren ’60 bedacht hij een wiskundig systeem om de wereld rondom zich te ordenen. Zo combineerde hij telkens een beperkt aantal cijfers en kleuren op een andere manier waardoor hij poëtisch vat kreeg op de werkelijkheid.

dynamic project reveals Philippe Van Snick’s (Ghent, 1946 - Brussels, 2019) extensive oeuvre through sculptures, installations, photographs, videos, paintings, drawings, models and editions. In the late 1960s, he devised a mathematical system for organising the world around him. He created different combinations of a small set of numbers and colours and, in so doing, achieved a poetic grasp of reality.
