Wij nodigen u van harte uit voor de opening van de tentoonstelling Marc De Blieck | Point de voir op vrijdag 17 oktober 2025 van 20:00 tot 23:00. In deze eerste museale solotentoonstelling toont de kunstenaar verschillende reeksen uit zijn rijkgevulde carrière.

In de beelden van De Blieck is veel te zien maar ze geven niet alles meteen prijs: iets blijft koppig weerstand bieden. Door het brede blikveld van de camera en door het spel met kleur, formaat en printtechnieken, doorbreekt hij onze vertrouwde manier van kijken. Met zijn aanpak keert De Blieck zich tegen de verwachting dat de fotograaf een inzicht of een standpunt zou moeten uitdragen.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter au vernissage de l’exposition Marc De Blieck | Point de voir le vendredi 17 octobre 2025 de 20h00 à 23h00. Dans cette première exposition personnelle muséale, l’artiste présente plusieurs séries issues de sa carrière riche et diversifiée.

Les images de De Blieck sont riches en détails, mais elles ne révèlent pas tout immédiatement : quelque chose résiste avec entêtement. Grâce à l’objectif grand angle de l’appareil, qui couvre un champ plus large que l’œil humain, et par le jeu avec la couleur, le format et les techniques d’impression, il perturbe notre manière habituelle de regarder. Par son approche, De Blieck refuse que l’on attende du photographe qu’il fasse passer une vision ou un point de vue.

We warmly invite you to the opening of the exhibition Marc De Blieck | Point de voir on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. In this first solo museum exhibition, the artist presents several series from his richly filled career.

There is much to see in De Blieck's images, but they do not reveal everything at once: something stubbornly resists. Through the wide field of view of the camera and by playing with colour, format and printing techniques, he breaks through our familiar way of looking at things. With his approach, De Blieck rebels against the expectation that the photographer should convey an insight or a point of view.
