You are welcome to attend the press meeting of Healing The Museum, the first mid-career survey of British-Kenyan Grace Ndiritu on Thursday 30 March at 11:00. Both the artist and curator Ann Hoste will take you through the exhibition.
Ndiritu seeks to re-energise the museum space and to make it – and by extension society in general – more ethical. Through performance, film, social action, shamanism and textile work, Ndiritu introduces the visitor to urgent themes, including community, ecology, blackness and feminism. The Temple, a spiritual space for encounter, features her personal selection of some 60 works from the S.M.A.K. collection.
The exhibition runs from 1.Apr.2023 to 10.Sep.2023.
