In partnership with WaF! S.M.A.K. presents animated film workshops during the holidays.

During the holidays, children aged between 8 and 12 will have the chance to create their own animated film with professional supervision. Participants can experiment with all kinds of material and in a variety of animation film techniques such as cartoon, stop-motion, cut-out, pixilation, etc.

Together with a guide, you’ll spend a day exploring the exhibitions at S.M.A.K. Then for the next few days you’ll be experimenting with various different types of stop-motion animation in the WaF! studio at the academy.

Design, storyboard, recording, and so on: everyone will actively participate in the creation of an animated film. Prior knowledge is not required. For upcoming workshops, keep an eye on our calendar or subscribe to our newsletter.

WaF! or ‘Workshops animatiefilm’ (Animated Film Workshops) is an initiative by the Fonds Raoul Servais vzw.
