You are welcome in the new ice cream parlour Crèmerie GUILLAUME, for an ice cream or a drink. The Crèmerie is a contemporary ice cream parlour with a nod to the artist Guillaume Bijl.
The ice creams are supplied by Crèmerie François from Sint-Niklaas, one of the oldest ice cream parlours in Belgium. They have enjoyed an impeccable reputation since 1928 and are also one of the only ice cream makers that still pasteurise raw milk in-house.

Guillaume Bijl installs artwork in ice cream parlour

The 'Sorry' works by Guillaume Bijl can take different forms. They are compositions of objects or installations that contain an absurd element, which causes them to deviate from Bijl's realistic visual language and to become surreal.
A good example is a bird's nest containing one red and two white billiard balls, a bizarre still life, or the new installation in the cremerie.
