Kurt De Munter, Sustaining Member at the Friends of S.M.A.K. acquired a love for art since the late 1990s and eagerly visited museums, galleries, fairs, artists' studios....
From the early 2000s to the present, a collection has emerged that continues to expand sensitively. The collection includes works by Belgian as well as foreign artists.
Kurt and his partner enjoy living with art, design and antique 'finds'.
For more than 12 years, Kurt De Munter has also had an OFF-space in his home. He calls that place a 'home' for art and dialogue. Art brings people together and that certainly includes the S.M.A.K. Friends. All kinds of meetings and events are organised regularly.
The participants will be offered a glass and a bite to eat on location.
