On Sunday 30 January 2022, Davidsfonds will be our guest and they are organising a real family day. In the morning you can attend a lecture on POPART by Philippe Van Cauteren. The lecture is also open to children (8+). In the afternoon you can visit POPART From Warhol to Panamarenko. Yellow Pages will tell you more about the works.
What is pop art anyway? Where do artists get their inspiration? Can I make a work of pop art myself? How are the works of art in such a large exhibition selected and how do they get here? Philippe Van Cauteren is artistic director of S.M.A.K. and a born storyteller. He explains in great detail what pop art actually is and how you can interpret it. With room for all your questions. This course is intended for both adults and children. You will also visit the exhibition.
