Interactive challenging tour in Dutch for adults with (suspected) ASD

We make a set appointment for an engaging, even challenging tour of S.M.A.K. But we also keep it predictable and clear.

When? Alternately one month the last Saturday from 10h30 to 12h, and the next month the second Wednesday from 14h30 to 16h. Consecutive months' tours (Saturday/Wednesday) have the same structure.

Our next appointments are on Saturday 28.Oct.2023 at 10h30, and on Wednesday 8.Nov.2023 at 14h30.

What?
A thematic tour of one of the museum's exhibitions. We work from looking and our own experience or sense.
Each time there is also a moment to be creative yourself. We deliberately choose to keep the group small.

Who is it for?
Any adult (with an interest in contemporary art) who experiences thresholds with unexpected stimuli or with planning a museum visit. But in particular for people on the Autism Spectrum.

With whom?
Tania De Mulder, museum guide.

Price? Entry ticket (all existing discounts are valid) + 5 euros for the guided tour.

Registration? Registration is mandatory via email to tania.de.mulder@telenet.be.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 12.

Appointments?
Those who register will receive an e-mail a few days before the tour with information about the layout of the museum and accessibility.
In that mail there will also be more information around concrete arrangements such as the place in the museum where we meet and any known extra incentives (such as upcoming moving or video installations).

More info?
Contact the guide at tania.de.mulder@telenet.be.

Our next appointment is on Saturday 28Oct.2023 at 10h30.

We will then explore the exhibition The End Is Never Near with work by Jan Van Imschoot. This tour will be resumed on Wednesday 08. Nov.2023 at 2.30pm.

Welcome!
