March 7-8-9, Radio Ruit is hosting a three-day broadcast in Zaal 1 at S.M.A.K. Gent. During these days, visual artists, scenographers and musicians will interact with this space and experiment with ‘online radio’ as a medium within the context of a museum.
Radio Ruit is an online community radio in Ghent that started out at Kunstencentrum Viernulvier, later on moved to Theresia and as of late, are residing at art space 019. Since their launch in 2020, Radio Ruit has been challenging young creatives, collectives, musicians and dj’s to take over the radio waves and show you their universe.
