To encourage interaction between the artists and the organisation, we provide access to the museum’s exhibition, public, collection, and archival operations, as well as to internal organisational structures and non-public spaces. Building on this close engagement with the museum’s (daily) operations, space emerges for research- and community-based practices that allow for experimentation with a multidisciplinary approach, alternative working methods, and new forms of knowledge sharing.
An output is not predetermined but emerges from a process-oriented approach and develops over the course of the residency.
