Ante Timmermans is a draughtsman, painter and installation artist. In his graphic work, Timmermans constantly calls into question the position of the ‘drawing’ in the (art) world. What is a drawing these days, and what can a graphic work mean in the context of the global network of multimedia communication channels? As a sceptical artist, he attempts to revisit these questions with each new step in his oeuvre.
