An idiosyncratic museum like S.M.A.K. is delighted to be taking part in an equally idiosyncratic city festival both for and by children like WWMW. This year’s theme is WILDEKOPPEN (wild heads).
We are inviting impetuous children to take a mad, bold photo of their parents at the butchers. So feed your mum and dad through the mincer and turn them into a delicious wild head. “Mum” and “dad”, two portraits of the parents of the artist and winner of the ‘Prijs van de Vrienden v/h S.M.A.K. 2016’ (Friends of S.M.A.K. Prize 2016), Diana Tamane (b. 1986, Latvia) will provide inspiration.
