Now that schools have been labelled as 'code yellow', visiting a museum with your class is currently not possible. But students also need inspiring moments. Therefore, several museums in Ghent decided to bring the museum to secondary education. S.M.A.K. also developed its own programme, from a guide in the classroom to a series of digital materials. For 50 minutes, students are completely immersed in contemporary art. They get to listen to an excerpt from the Imaginary Museum, explore current exhibitions or start creating themselves using an app or pencil and paper.
