On 27 January 2021 Vooruit will open its doors as a 'museum'. 'Universal Tongue' is a project by visual artist Anouk Kruithof. She collected over 8800 dance videos on YouTube and Instagram, in collaboration with a team of fifty researchers spread all over the world. Each researcher received a symbolic payment of one euro for each video delivered. They also wrote a short text about the dance styles that appeared in the videos they selected.
