Workshop ‘Imagine your self-portrait’ | A workshop about your appearance and self-image

In the context of the exhibition Donogoo Tonka by Rinus Van de Velde, partially sighted and blind visitors were able to follow the workshop ‘Imagine your self-portrait’.

Like the artist, the participants worked with charcoal. They portrayed themselves in a landscape they had chosen themselves. At the same time, they shared their experiences about the exhibition, their life and about concepts such as beauty, image and self-esteem. This resulted in a series of captivating video portraits that give a unique view into the world of people with no vision or with impaired vision.
