UpClose is a new series of publications about the S.M.A.K. collection. Each book features an in-depth analysis of an important work from our collection written by a different international expert.
For the first publication, John C. Welchman, professor at the University of California, San Diego, takes the lead with ‘Pense-Bête’, a key work by Marcel Broodthaers that was entrusted to S.M.A.K. by the Flemish Community.
