Publisher MER. Books invites S.M.A.K. members to an exclusive afternoon where their art books can be purchased at a competitive price and signed by the featured artists:
MER. is the imprint of Borgerhoff & Lamberigts. MER. was founded in 2005 under the name MER. Paper Kunsthalle, with a mission to explore the different positions and possibilities of the book medium as a dynamic space for exhibiting and creating art. MER. builds on this heritage. Through artist-driven collaborations and imaginative graphic design, MER.'s publications seek to bring us close to living art. This includes the production and creation of several monographic works and exhibition catalogues.
MER. works closely with the Ghent design studio Studio Luc Derycke, which has been producing innovative and ingenious book designs for decades.
