In the Spotlight: (My) identity
During '10 years of S.M.A.K. Moves', we are giving various partners the opportunity to showcase their work, plan activities or use the museum as their temporary workplace.
Going “OverKop” (upside down) can be fun. But sometimes we also feel turned upside down by all the questions and doubts that run through our minds.
Together with the organization OverKop in Ghent and artist Kenny Mala Ngombe (TRILL vzw), 20 young people explored the theme of identity: who am I, who should I be, what do people think of me, and how can I share that with others? Because let’s be honest… don’t you sometimes feel tangled up in these questions too? Here, they tell their story through images, words and sound. Some works speak loudly, others whisper.
