Throughout the spring half-term holidays, S.M.A.K. has lots to offer young and old alike. Nothing beats looking at contemporary art together, because you discover more together than alone!
Together with the whole family, help build the ‘Floep Gloep Sloep’ by artist Joris Van de Moortel in his exhibition HELL ON EARTH. A S.M.A.K. guide will help you on your way to make a mini-sloop that will become part of the artwork in the museum! This is a workshop for imaginative children aged 8 and above who love music, building and creating. Click here for more information.
This new exploration immerses you and your little adventurers in the magical world of Joris Van de Moortel; full of music, a ship and silly characters. With the special map, you try to find your own way on your journey through HELL ON EARTH. Along the way, you have to complete six different challenges, the only way to reach the future. The free exploration is suitable for children from 5 years of age (in dutch). Ask for it at the counter!
On each bingo card you will find different drawings made by the S.M.A.K. Ambassadors, each showing a detail of a work of art. Whoever is the first to get three in a row but for once does shout out loud in the museum! The free S.M.A.K. B.I.N.G.O. is suitable for children from 5 years of age. Ask at the counter!
