On the first Thursday of the month, S.M.A.K. and De Centrale join forces for ‘Late Thursday’. The museum remains open until 10 PM, with a free concert in the entrance hall at 8:30 PM. Discover the full programme below.

A guide takes you through the current exhibitions at S.M.A.K.
- Starts at 7 PM at the reception desk.
- Duration: 1.5 hours.
- Places are limited, register via reservation@smak.be (max. 4 registrations per person).
- Price: entrance ticket + 6.5 euros per person (including children & Ghent residents).
Concert Jan Conka Ensemble
The virtuoso Slovak Roma violinists Jan Conka Sr. & Jan Conka Jr. and their ensemble, based in Ghent, are true masters at creating lively, captivating, and virtuoso music. With their infectious, festive folk music, gypsy jazz, and modern twists on timeless classics, they enchant and unite audiences of all ages. Get ready for some real Gypsy swing, inspired by the legendary Django Reinhardt!
