Every first Thursday of the month, the museums of Ghent stay open until 10:00 PM. Explore the exhibitions through a drop-in guided tour and enjoy live music by the Academy of Performing Arts Ghent during or after your visit.
Guided visit
A S.M.A.K. guide will take you through the current exhibitions at S.M.A.K.
- Start at 7:00 PM at the reception desk.
- Duration: 1.5 hours.
- Places are limited. Registration via reservation@smak.be (max. 4 registrations per person).
- Price: admission ticket + €6.50 per person (including children and Ghent residents).
Music by the Academy of Performing Arts
From 7:00 PM onwards, teachers and students of the Academy of Performing Arts Ghent bring music and workshops to life throughout the museum galleries. Discover them in their partner space within the exhibition ‘10 Years of S.M.A.K. Moves’, or encounter them spontaneously in one of the exhibition rooms.

- Admission is free for Ghent residents from 5:30 PM onwards (upon presentation of ID). The guided tour costs €6.50.
