Every first Thursday of the month, the museums of Ghent stay open until 10:00 PM. Explore the exhibitions through a drop-in guided tour and enjoy live music by the Academy of Performing Arts Ghent during or after your visit.
Guided visit
A S.M.A.K. guide will take you through the current exhibitions at S.M.A.K.
- Start at 7:00 p.m. at the reception desk.
- Duration: 1.5 hours.
- Places are limited. Registration via reservation@smak.be (max. 4 registrations per person).
- Price: admission ticket + €6.50 per person (including children and Ghent residents).
Music by the Academy of Performing Arts
From 7:00 p.m. onwards, several teachers and students of the Academy of Performing Arts Ghent bring music throughout the museum. Discover them in their partner space within the exhibition ‘10 Years of S.M.A.K. Moves’.

- 10:00 p.m. Exhibitions close (last admission to exhibitions at 9:30 p.m.)

- Admission is free for Ghent residents from 5:30 p.m. onwards (upon presentation of ID). The guided tour costs €6.50.
