Concert: Heleen van Haegenborgh & Saori Miraku

Saori miraku heleen van haegenborgh 9 1500

Following her symphony for city sounds, composed with and based on an idea by artist Thomas Verstraeten, Heleen Van Haegenborgh has reworked the material into a new live experience.

She mixes the recordings with synths and electronics, together with London-based pianist and improviser Saori Miraku. Their meeting through the Musarc choir led to this first joint performance, in which symphonic echoes and improvisation merge into a fresh sound world.

A series organised by Ha Concerts and S.M.A.K.
