Every first Thursday of the month, S.M.A.K. and Ha Concerts join forces for “Late Thursday”. The museum stays open until 10 p.m., with a free concert in the entrance hall. Contemporary art and stimulating music come together in an intimate but unique atmosphere.

What challenges do People of Color (POC) face in the Belgian art scene?
POC POC MANIFESTO is a travelling conversation series that brings together POC artists, curators, writers, and cultural workers for an open exchange on structural and personal experiences within the art field.
Following her symphony for city sounds, composed with and based on an idea by artist Thomas Verstraeten, Heleen Van Haegenborgh has reworked the material into a new live experience.
She mixes the recordings with synths and electronics, together with London-based pianist and improviser Saori Miraku. Their meeting through the Musarc choir led to this first joint performance, in which symphonic echoes and improvisation merge into a fresh sound world.
A series organised by Ha Concerts and S.M.A.K.
