On Thursday 1 June 2023, S.M.A.K. and the other Ghent museums will keep their doors open until 10pm. Come along for an evening visit to the ongoing exhibitions, live music and a drink or ice cream at Crèmerie GUILLAUME.

Every academic year, S.M.A.K., Ghent University and Curatorial Studies at KASK & Conservatory School of Arts jointly organise the Curatorial Lectures series. Kasia Redzisz, director of KANAL-Centre Pompidou, Brussels, will give a lecture at S.M.A.K. at 20:00.

On Thursday evening, we hold a R.A.V.E.: Reactive Audio Visual Exploration. Experience a unique music experience in S.M.A.K. at the same time as being part of a work of art. R.A.V.E. is an evening of electronic music curated by GRID. By participating in this event, you will simultaneously enter into co-creation with Lars Hiele to make an audiovisual artwork.
