Museum night 2026

Museum Night is back! One evening, 13 museums, and countless reasons to head into the city. Expect workshops, music, performances, and parties in extraordinary locations—completely free and running until 1 AM.
Let yourself be surprised, try something new, and turn Thursday, 3 December into a night to remember.
On the program at S.M.A.K.:
- Come and screen-print artworks from the S.M.A.K. collection onto a tote bag or other textiles. Bring that one boring shirt from your closet or a (clean) pair of underwear and give it a one-of-a-kind makeover.
- Hang around until late and discover the dreamy paintings by Bendt Eyckermans and the monumental textile works by Ana Lupas. In between, music and spoken word will provide surprising interventions.

- Leave your large bag or backpack at home or store it in our lockers.
- Bring an old t-shirt, tote bag, or another piece of fabric for screen printing.
