On Sunday 18 June 2023 at 11:00 Ory Dessau will give a lecture that revolves around different manifestations of unconventional time tenses in the work by Grace Ndiritu, like Deep Time, which is a geological, cosmic timescale of billions of years.

Starting from the artist’s exhibition Healing The Museum and her residency at S.M.A.K. A Spiritual Inventory of a 21st Century Museum, he will explore how Deep Time, non-linearity, simultaneity,.. have become significant parts of Ndiritu’s vision on the re-activated museum.

Ory Dessau, born 1979, is an independent curator and writer based in Ghent. He has collaborated with museums such as the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Neue Nationalgalerie, Berlin, S.M.A.K., Ghent, and Moderna Museet Malmö.
