For each major exhibition block, we organise a tailor-made guided tour for visually impaired and blind visitors.
This time, the focus was on the stunningly aesthetic painting exhibition Gerhard Richter | On Painting. Under the expert guidance of our guide, you will discover the many fascinating layers of this extraordinary oeuvre.
Gerhard Richter (1932, Dresden) is considered one of the most important contemporary artists and one of the post-war innovators of painting. His work, driven by experimentation, doubt and chance, proves time and again that a painting is incapable of representing or replacing reality.
A S.M.A.K. guide will describe the works verbally: in the first room, you will be introduced to the early works and you will end up with seven works of art that have just left Richter's studio.
