Ami Barak is an independent curator and art critic based in Paris and Brussels. He was director of FRAC Languedoc-Roussillon (1993–2002) and artistic director of Nuit Blanche in Paris (2003–2004). His international curatorial projects include the Romanian Pavilion at the 54th Venice Biennale (2011), MOMENTA in Montréal (2017), Art Encounters in Timișoara (2017), and the Daegu Photo Biennale (2018).
