S.M.A.K. Moves celebrates its 10th anniversary!

S.M.A.K. is always on the move. Art and culture are not self-evident to everyone, even though art can be meaningful to everyone. With the S.M.A.K. Moves platform, we bring people, ideas and experiments together to shape the museum of tomorrow.

After ten years, we are putting the icing on the cake with the exhibition project 10 Years of S.M.A.K. Moves. Our partners fill the museum rooms with images, sound, action and conversation. Among other things, you can discover the photo project Light Sensitivity by people from three psychiatric centres in Ghent, supervised by mentormentor, the flag project Road of Change by people who have fled their homes, and more surprising interventions.

Join us and the S.M.A.K. Moves partners in celebrating the festive opening night with musical interventions by the Academy of Performing Arts and workshops by Bazart, our youth movement in residence.
