At the moment, S.M.A.K. is housing refugees as part of the current exhibition. You can follow a modelling workshop together with them.
In 1911, the Belgian state sent sculptor Matton with the clear assignment to map out 'the ethnicities of Congo'. Inspired by this story, the refugees - in the wake of artist Athar Jaber who conducted the earlier workshop - will also work with clay. For the last time, we will provide a workshop 'modelling busts'. You can also participate.
