In the autumn of 2017, students from the Centre for Learning and Working (CLW Ghent) and the Secondary Art Institute (SKI) joined forces for the Shadowlife project.
Life has many dark sides, which the pupils explore and visualise. Under the guidance of S.M.A.K. guides, they take part in a series of workshops to create a monumental light installation in the Floralien Hall behind the museum. An ancient technique such as shadow play is combined with digital photography and projection.
Practical information
Shadowlife is a collaboration between SKI, CLW and S.M.A.K. and is supported by ENGIE.
