NL - Hoewel Rosenquist zijn onderwerpen vooral in de reclamewereld vond, spelen in zijn schilderijen ook vervreemding, abstractie en fragmentatie een rol. In deze installatie combineerde de kunstenaar fragmenten van planten op verschillende stroken kunststoffolie. Beweging en lichtreflectie verlenen het werk extra dynamiek.
ENG - Although Rosenquist drew his subjects mainly from the world of advertising, his paintings also feature alienation, abstraction and fragmentation. In this installation, the artist combined fragments of plants on different strips of plastic film. Movement and light reflections add an extra sense of dynamism to the work.
FR - Même si Rosenquist puisait principalement ses sujets dans le monde de la publicité, l’aliénation, l’abstraction et la fragmentation jouent également un rôle dans ses tableaux. Dans cette installation, l’artiste a conjugué des fragments de plantes sur différentes bandes de film plastique. Le mouvement et la réflexion de la lumière ajoutent une dynamique supplémentaire à l’œuvre.
