André-Philip Lemke is an artist who works in the twilight zone between performance, installation and sculpture.

His work focuses strongly on communication and interaction with the public and could be described as ‘social sculpture’ or ‘performative installation’. In addition to this he often combines marketing and advertising strategies with everyday, trivial activities such as giving away flowers. His ‘charming’ performances diffuse and slow down reality and the way in which we perceive it.
