Last summer KUNSTWERKT, in the margins of the urban exhibition TRACK, started working with the inhabitants of 3 residential care centres and 1 service flat complex.

The residents realised their own “track” together with artists, volunteers and the staff of the centre. This resulted in four very different beautiful, inspiring projects. Photos, movies, stories and one installation left a permanent track, which you can follow on the blog of TRACK in Residence - Short film ‘Exodus’ and wall drawing in the residential care centre De Vijvers in Ledeberg, with artist Sven Verhaeghe. -Travel photos ‘Going Back Tomorrow’ in the service flat complex Antoniushof in Ghent, with artist Bert Jacobs. - Photo series ‘Verborgen Handelingen’ (Hidden Acts) in the residential care centre Zonnebloem in Zwijnaarde, with photographer Delphine Lebon. - Video art work ‘Gezongen dialogen’ (Sung Dialogues) in the residential care centre De Liberteyt in Wondelgem, with musician Thomas de Smedt. In association with OCMW Ouderenzorg, GHENT. From 22.06 to 18.08.2013 visitors can see the remarkable results of these 4 projects in S.M.A.K..
