The museum has a restoration studio where damaged works of art can be examined, cleaned and, if necessary, restored. Preventive treatment of works of art can also take place here. Together, we go for social impact. Art cannot be taken for granted by everyone, but it can be meaningful for everyone. S.M.A.K. brings hard-to-reach audiences into contact with art. Together with you, we develop adapted projects for people with disabilities, prisoners, people who are blind and visually impaired, refugees, people with dementia, young people, children and people with a mental vulnerability, among others.

For each exhibition, we collaborate with a number of strong presenting partners. Besides free tickets and guided tours, we also develop a customised project linked to the exhibition.
