His work has been exhibited internationally for twenty years, but it has taken until now for you to have the chance to finally explore the expressive oeuvre of Kris Martin. Martin is best known in Belgium for his sculpture ‘Altar’ in Ostend, which can also be seen at St. Bavo’s Cathedral in the centre of Ghent. In S.M.A.K., you can see 50 artworks in the first retrospective to be staged in Belgium. Philippe Van Cauteren will have a talk with the artist.
