GAGARIN 'the Artists in their Own Words' was an international, semi-annual artist's magazine founded in 2000 and closed in 2017 by Wilfried Huet. At Huet's request, the magazine collected written or unpublished texts by artists from around the world and allowed them to speak unfiltered.
The complete GAGARIN collection of 33 issues is now available in a signed box and on a limited edition of 120 copies. You can obtain this box through GAGARIN at 600 euros.
S.M.A.K. and GAGARIN joined forces for the first time in 2010 with the exhibition GAGARIN the Artists in their Own Words – The First Decade and the event S.M.A.K. going GAGA. When the last issue of the magazine was published, the exhibition 'The String Traveller' also took place at the museum.
