S.M.A.K. is closed, but never far away. The collection of over 2,000 artworks is in storage, while those by Kris Martin and Charbel-joseph H. Boutros are safe in the galleries. But the lockdown stops people discovering both the museum and the collection. What you can do, however, is hang an image of a work from the collection in your home, or even one from the temporary exhibitions. Display a unique poster in your window and participate in a collective action to create a new ‘open-air museum’, so that everyone can go ‘art spotting’ while out hunting for bears!
What would you like to hang in your window: a work from the collection or one by Kris Martin or Charbel-joseph H. Boutros? Let us know. We’ll select the artwork and send you a surprising and unique poster. Complete the Google form and, before you know it, an artwork (in the form of an image) will be dropping through your letterbox!
