with Centrum Leren en Werken

In 2018, 200 pupils from the Centrum Leren en Werken Gent (Centre for Learning and Working Ghent) and the Spectrumschool Gent (Spectrum School Ghent) took part in a series of workshops on the work of the painter Raoul De Keyser. After visiting the exhibition, the pupils set to work on painting themes such as composition, cropping and personal iconography. Finally, they worked out their ideas on canvas.

In early 2019, artist Andrej Babenko gave a series of spray paint workshops in the Floralien Hall behind the museum. In these workshops, the young people incorporated their ideas about contemporary art. The results were displayed at the travelling festival Ghost in Citadel Park.
