To coincide with this congress, S.M.A.K. will present Joseph Beuys' work 'Wirtschaftswerte' (1980) during the summer, viewed through the lens of museum conservation and restoration. You can find more info about this focus presentation here.
The congress will take place from 8 to 11 September 2026 at the Handelsbeurs in Ghent. Registration is now open for museum professionals: from restorers and curators to conservation scientists and collection managers.
