They first visited the studio in Deinze and then went through the exhibition of his oeuvre. Afterwards, one group worked with images, another with sound. The starting point for the entire process is to examine how Raoul De Keyser moves from figuration to abstraction through isolation and zooming in and out, a path that the participants, due to their specific limitations, often take in reverse order.
De Keyser's work is discussed in the art studio, but also in religion and echolocation classes. In collaboration with Aifoon, they are working on a universal sound atlas during the echolocation course, an artistic handbook that helps students to describe sounds accurately.
On 24 January 2019, the participants presented the projects to their fellow students.
