With the tram as a travelling object, the Gentspoort project team wants to announce the arrival of the tram in various neighbourhoods. The tram will remain on the square in front of S.M.A.K. for an indefinite period.
On the initiative of Gentspoort, the tram was painted with Ghent figureheads who are committed to women's rights by Ghent street artist Alice Martha (Charlotte Dossche). Read here why the tram underwent a metamorphosis and what the link is with the project.
